Default La Crosse Weather Station?

Is the La Crosse WS2010 a good weather station? Anybody have experience
with it?

I have this weather station, and it hasn't been the best experience.
It's kinda confusing to set up, and I have never been able to get the
rain gauge to work. The anemometer has recently stopped working,
though I believe it can be fixed. The thing about the data is that
they update only once every few minutes, so you never get real-time
data on, say, a wind gust; it just seems to be an average over the
past few minutes. Other than that, the station works well. The battery
life on the base unit is pretty long, and the indoor and outdoor
temp/humidity sensors work great. The min/max feature is nice, too.

If I could start again, however, I'd definitely go for a wired station
instead. The combination of wireless transmitting and power has proved
ineffective. Feel free to ask any more questions!

I had a La Crosse Ws2310 and had pretty good luck with it. I switched it
from wireless to wired to get more frequent updates. Plus my temp sensor
was affected by sunlight. Would raise 10 to 15 degrees in direct sunlight so
I had to make my own homemade radiation shield.

I recently switched to a Davis Vantage Pro 6150c and like it MUCH better.
