Default Lets talk about the weather .. a question.

What track?
This thing isn't following any normal Hurricane track.
It's also pushing a storm that wasn't suppose to hit us here in
PA directly at us.

On the right track, but why is it so?

Here is the question. Why does a relatively cloud free area known as
the "Eye" form in a Hurricane, Typhoon, or Cyclone? (Tropical systems
please and keep it earthquake free)

Notice how there's an "eye" in the middle when water goes down a drain?

The eye of a hurricane is the same thing. You may have noticed that the
eye dissipates once the hurricane hits land. We may surmise from this
that for a hurricane, the "drain" is in the ocean. It's probably an
undersea hole caused by an earthquake.

????
Explain why the last hurrican developed an eye then.
It had a very defined eye as it moved across Pennsylvania.
Or should I say below us.
I followed it's track through to almost the end.
It's eye was several counties across.
This one might also regain an eye..
A land eye, which at one time, never happened.
There's more moisture being pumped into the storm as well
earthquakes have nothing to do with it, you stupid asshole.

Fievel.

them. Then put on "Night of the Living Dead."

Forgot..
http://radar.weather.gov/Conus/full_loop.php
Center of rotation is very strong here, and not weakening
much at all.
If anything, it's gaining land straight..
And will probably grow an eye like the last one.
Even though, it's no longer over water.

Fievel.

Default Lets talk about the weather .. a question.

Being on the right track was just a comment in response made by"
Coffee in Madrid" to suggest that the eye of a hurricane or other
intense topical storm devolves a eye due to atmospheric pressure.
Right idea and thus on the right track for why an eye develops.

Now that Ike is well inland and about to infuse a relatively dry cold
front with a lot of moisture, Now what? Could get interesting.

I was baing funny, to point out something kinda odd.
Other thing kinda odd, is that last storm gained an eye
over land.
Goodbye to normal weather rules.

Not so abnormal. Strong extra tropical systems may appear to develop
an eye on a satellite image. Diffrent reasons though.
Good on you for noticeing

Funny or not, a valid point for discussion!

Huh?
It didn't just appear that way, otherwise it would've
lasted only a few frames of incorrect data.
It lasted way too long for that.
In addition, I remember Katrina.
It passed trraight our area. That one, I saw the
eye first hand.
It stormed for many hours.
It nearly stoped completely. There were clouds
nearly all around the Lebanon area.
But not a drop of rain.
It took ? time to pass over, and start raining again.
That was an odd year, and an odd and strong storm.
If you can see with you're eyes, I guess it's there.

I have no idea if Katrina was the first.
I only know, it was the first time I ever saw it.
I might've been busy getting drunk, I drank much
more often back then...

Fievel.

Sorry, Snipe's comment about earthquakes and draining the ocean

"the "drain" is in the ocean. It's probably an
undersea hole caused by an earthquake."
