Lawrence, fancy going ? :-) Maybe Paul B. will go and tell them it's going to be mild - LOL. Will. -- (Like the photo...bit of a teaser, eh?) Darn, on my birthday and all! Any chance it might be snowed off on the 24th!?? Pretty hefty price for the CD-ROM. Half an hour allocated to the actual forecast itself too! Is this the sign of things to come for the UK Met Office or have they carried out such a public event in the past? J. |

Why are you? I'll tell you what, you pay this time and I'll pay the next I'm as usual going to jump the gun as it were, and put my big foot in it. But as JCW posed, have they (ukmo) held this sort of event before? At £395.00 a lump per delegate I doubt it. Blimey at least Metcheck are cheaper with their LR-codswallop-Forecasts ! Cherie Blair's not speaking-is she? |

Will. Will. Give me a little credit at least. I only said the winter will be normal or above. A lot of evidence. Roeder. ecmwf, TWO backs me up. Seeing as I have not put much work in, and only made comments. I feel the LOL is bit uncalled for. I am doing my best! Cheers Paul -- 'Wisest are they that know they do not know.' Socrates. Surely aiming such an event at the corporate world - for a disaster preparing scenario that has a very big chance of not happening - is leaving them open to lawsuits - instead of just the proverbial egg on face! Strange indeed... |
