I went down to Culzean and took a few photos (unfortunately I didn't
post the one I took of an absolute carpet of snowdrops).

we have had snowdrops out weeks crocuses out for last week or so and even
the daffs are opening here in Southwick on the south coast

Which reminded me - when I visited the Lake District at the end of
January (20th-25th), the daffodils were at about the same stage of
development as the ones down here in Kent. I think normally there's a
delay of a few weeks as spring "moves north".
