I've just seen mention in another news group this server is going to charge
from April - about £7 a year by my reckoning.

Details are on their home page.

I suppose the day was always going to come... but it's still a great
shame. Now I'll have to either pay up or use the feeble BT feed. :S

Richard,

I find news-text on blueyonder quite stable these days, with excellent
retention.

Cheers,
Steve

Well worth seven quid a year, I think.

None at all as far as I am aware - bar the ISP's servers. I suppose you
*could* use Google groups...but, there again, who in their right minds
would use such an archaic web based system:-) ?

I've given up reading posts from Google - well kill filed them in fact.

-10 Organization: http://groups.google.com
!ignore,markread,delete score %=-10
!retrieve score %-1

does the trick.
