As we are at the height of Mr Corbyns first predicted massive autumn
storm( see Steve Schulins post October 17),I wondered it was safe yet to
take the bricks off the cat, let granny go to Sainsburys unescorted ,and
unglue my toupee ?.
Cos it aint too bad here at the moment.,blue skies ,11C and a force one gale

Wind was terrible this morning - but I put that down the chili sauce last
night....

It's tempting Ron, but violent storm force 3 here currently....perhaps
I'll just keep Willow the cat lashed to the Apple tree until this
*dangerous* period passes. If you are concerned about your syrup, I'm
reliably informed that "Waterproof No More Nails" will keep a toupee
firmly attached in 130mph *killer storms* ;-)

Ian,

We had gusts of around 50 mph during the night; does that make him half
right?

The sun almost blew me over as I left the flat this morning it was so
violent.

Has anyone emailed Piers for his views on why it's such a spectacular
failure so far?

Richard

No - but I think we should try and find out how to, or at least e-mail the
Express or Mail, whichever one it was, and rub it in a bit!

He did say this storm would be "a taster" of what is to follow in
November - and we still have a couple of days to go for this warning
to expire. I think if we wait for the third warning to fall flat it
will give us maximum chance to really rub it in.

Perhaps we could all sign an open letter to The Express - together
with an article in the Guardian / Independent...

The TRUTH WILL OUT!!!

Now now, please don't mock the afflicted, let him live in his own little
world, the Meteorological version of Eastbourne that south coast home
for the bewildered.
