Personally, I
don't see the weather for the Bank Holiday being quite as bad as is
being touted here and there. It'll be warmer, with the threat of
showers, but Easterlies may drive the fronts back West and I don't see
the same threat from low pressure over France, pushing fronts
Northwards, as was the case last weekend. If you miss the showers, it
could be barbie time!

Paul

Thats what you get for ingnoring all other models and base it on 1 run,
1 model.

What is it with you?
You've been taking side-swipes at Dawlish's forecasts for some weeks now.
Upset you on another forum, did he?

Just so, I think. I for one read Dawlish's post with interest as
there are relatively few who do pos like this. Such side-swipes are
quite unnecessary, tedious in the extreme, and thankfully ineffectual.

It has been a stunning day down in Dorset

I agree entirely.

Turned into a beautiful day here in Devon, after a misty start with a bit of
drizzle the cloud disappeared to leave a sunny afternoon.

Lovely evening, no wind and warm.

Why dont you ask him, after all he is banned from all weather forums
already - TWO, UKWW, Net-Weather etc etc.
I see the dawlish spell has fallen on USW.

Lets see how long he last this time.

He'll soon be poo pooing the UK met.

Unlike you constant sniping at him, he appears to be posting
perfectly normally.

Indeed. I haven't seen any posts from him on usw that would have ruffled
any feathers on the forums that are mentioned above. Whereas if N.E
Zephyr attacked someone on TWO the way that he's been doing here, I
doubt that he would last long there.

Looks like a dreaded case of bickering brought about by "Weather Newsgroup
Ego Syndrome" - a downside of any forum with a hierarchy. Yes you get to
control postings but you also get managers, moderators etc. and the battle
of egos involved to obtain those roles...

.... for those that haven't found this (or a similar site), this is
quite an amusing read for a rainy (in the south) BH afternoon:....
