Default Noctilucent Cloud

After yesterdays reports about Noctilucent Cloud, I just popped outside and
there is quite a display tonight as well.

And up here in West Cumbria too, now that the cloud has cleared. I've just
been outside taking photos.

I'm only just now reading newsgroups - shot outside and there are some
pale but very bright cyan/turquoise clouds to the NNW (N. Wales) - are
these noctilucent?

Indeed. It was quite stunning here at 11:30 p.m. It was the most extensive I
have ever seen.

How frustrating it is to live in London. I saw plenty of bright clouds
in the northern sky, but it was all due to Canary Wharf....

But we'll be in countryside next week, though in SW France - how far
south can these clouds be seen, generally speaking?
