I notice the expanding blob of mess moving along the South Coast.

Looks ominous in Bournemouth at the time of writing - can't tell where
the sea foam stops and the beach starts!

Looking as if Southampton and Portsmouth are in for an interesting
afternoon! Assuming that this is falling as snow rather than rain??

From the sounds of it on the UKWW newsgroup there's a lot of rain
right on the coast?

The UKMO have now issued a flash warning for Sussex and the rest of the
south coast counties for this afternoon until 9pm. Previously there
wasn't even a "possibly, be aware that there may be some weather"
warning.... ;-)

It is raining apparently but it might turn to snow. A spider crawling
across the lens at the moment which makes a great shot!

Checked the "webcam" at 1115 and it truly was a webcam with an
enormous spider crawling across the screen. It was bigger than the
pier - honest!

Yes I noticed that - plus Surrey and Oxon. I wonder if this warning
may creep into the Greater London area?

Snowing in Southampton for last 15 minutes, though it looks it might
clear soon.
Also very gloomy for the time of day, not quite day-darkness but
certainly similar light level to 8am or 4pm, and lighting coming on
which doesn't normally until sunset.

I sincerely hope it stays clear of Heathrow. Though snowing in Philip
Hammond for his insensitive comments wouldn't go amiss lol :-)
