People should lighten up a bit on here sometimes. Ah, OK. I thought you just found it funny because he was having a go at Dawlish. Upon re-reading it, the beard reference was pretty good ![]() -- Col Bolton, Lancashire 160m asl |

you cant change subject headers on REAL USENET
that makes no sense to anyone using a real usenet reader. ****! (to those with real usenet readers, "it" has resorted to changing subject headers on google groups) On 29/07/2011 2:12 PM, Dawlish wrote: shakes head |

Hmmm where do I start? It's far too big and besides Will is a better forecaster, is better looking, has a better beard than me and is far too popular . I think I may have swung it with Mr Bodgitt when I pointed out that Will's beard was even *thicker than his wife's!!!!!!! That really got his dander up. Okay must go now after finishing at 4 CMT (that's Council Mean time which is two hours in front of GMT; its time to relax and let the wife pamper me. Alphabet Soup first course I hope her spellings correct I don't want to send her to bed early with no supper again. Okay must go as I have another two hundred weather forecasts to make before cocoa and lights out. TTFN So you have a cushy life. If only you knew how widespread was the practice of posting from work (a phenomenon of which I have ample and contining proof even though retired) I don't think you'd have felt the necessity to regale us with your latest musings. Furthermore, I have a beard, though alas of higher albedo than formerly. What was the weather like? It was alright in Sydenham on Tuesday night (warm, stuffy, normal, 8/8 Sc, nice for a fag outside). Why weren't you at the Golden Lion to hear Dick Pearce, not the worst jazz trumpet player in the world by some distance. Wossa ma ' ' er wivvier. Cloff-eared or sunnin(k)? I dunno. If only you knew how widespread was the practice of posting from work (a phenomenon of which I have ample and contining proof even though retired) Those people posting from work must have an extremely easy going (or non-computer savvy) employer. Where I work, posting to newsgroups, social network sites etc is, quite rightly in my view, not allowed at any time. Having said that I think Paul of Dawlish is a self-employed consultant nowadays, which is quite different. Boring weather in Haytor again this morning, sunny, misty, warm. Will -- |

Me too. *Actually it wasn't funny at all, it was snide and nasty, typical right wing sociopath. I Will encourage this stupid feud between Lawence & Dawlish.
