Oh, you have helped Will (me anyhow), sad if you don't post more - I would
really like to pick your brains sometime about Dartmoor if I can drop you a
line sometime?
=========================

Hi Cupra, yes no problem, e-mail me any time, no problem.
As I said I'll still be reporting Dartmoor conditions throughout the winter.

Will

I hope so. It's sad when two people, both of whom are among the more
constructive posters to this newsgroup, fall out.

People who flounce out of newsgroups like that always are.
Must admit though, I thought Will would have developed a thicker skin
after all his years on Usenet to what was essentially pretty mild
criticism.

It was a bit of a surprise, given that he's dealt with good humour with
much worse in the past. Perhaps he was just having a bad day, or perhaps
this was the final - quite light - straw that broke the camel's back.

If he really has a problem with me he just use his killfile
and be done with it.
That's the adult way of dealing with people you don't get
along with, rather than acting like a big cry-baby and
essentially cutting off your nose to spite your face.

You just don't stop with the insults do you Col?
Try posting about the weather for a change, what is your long range forecast
for example?
Anyway, enough of this, I'm off to walk the coast path, the exercise in the
sunshine will do me good!

You wheel this quote out on a weekly, nay, daily basis. We all know
that you think this: what did you think you'd gain from saying it
quite possibly the thousandth time on here?

Reaction!??

Not everyone uses a newsreader that offers a killfile facility.

I'm disappointed that you should have written that after I'd said that
you were one of the more constructive posters to this newsgroup. Please
don't prove me wrong.

Where, pray tell, have I said - or ever said that I "don't like the
fact"? I've only ever questioned your use of statistics in your
accuracy measurement.

The fact is correct, isn't it? And the fact that you don't like it is
as plain as the nose on your face. 8)) (the nose is the bit in the

Well quite.
See my reply to Will.
This was just a Usenet spat, but they can spiral out of control
