Well, well. *Put a number of folk in their 50s and 60s together as a scientific experiment and see how long it takes them to behave like primary school kids, when their cosy little clique is shattered by a minority with a different view to themselves.

No need. It has happened before my very eyes.

Thankyou. I now have enough material for my Phd thesis.

Good luck with the Phd but I fear it's doomed to failure. Who would
believe that Lawrence, Weatherlayer, Dawlish and last but by no means
least the Eskimo man who who has to justify his existence on earth by
telling us that he's a "leader", sleeps in a room at close to absolute

Talking of ****s and oafs, Terry, why don't you stop hiding behind all
these pseudonyms? The only reason I can think of is that you enjoy
inflicting your ****tishness and oafishness on as many people as possible.

I always thought it would be better to be a fake somebody than a real
nobody.

I think that has to be the most sensible conclusion anyone has ever
made on this group.

Sadly, I really do believe they think that cyber bullying is something
that doesn't apply to the over 50s and are going to get a shock when
their ISPs produce lists of all their posts from the year dot.

Comments do not look quite so amusing when read out in court by a
barrister, even if the originals did have a after them.

If that's a free consultation, it was grossly over-priced. But now I
know what is wrong with our schools.
Anyone have a list of this person's online names?

Hmmm.. That's what's wrong with me. I'm a vindictive *******.
I always thought it was:

Perhaps most interesting is the fact that in studies on the
aforementioned “mirror neurons,” women tended to have stronger motor
responses when watching others than men did. One experiment involved
men and women playing games with a partner who was really a lab
assistant. In one group, the men and women enjoyed working together
and playing a game with their partner. Then, while the subjects looked
on, their partners were seemingly subjected to pain. The pain areas in
both the male and female subjects’ brains lit up as they watched their
partners in pain. But in the next group, the partners cheated during
the game with the subjects and played unfairly. This time when the
subjects watched theirs partner in pain, the pain areas of the women’s
brains still lit up in empathy.

But in the men’s brains, it wasn’t the pain areas that lit up, it was
the pleasure areas.
:~D

The men got a kick out of seeing the cheater get their comeuppance.
The men seemed to be more focused on fairness and justice. Again this
is not likely a matter of socialization; the same result has even been
found in similar studies with male mice.
