Ah Cornwall - THE - most overrated county in Britain. Decentish coastline,
by no means the best, with an-utterly nondescript inland.

The temptation to respond to moronic comments like that is extremely high ,so lets hope
nobody will ,otherwise yet another pointless thread will be set up running.

Well done Ron, another participant for the Killfile!

I'm interested. Tell us why that post is 'moronic', whereas another off-topic post talking about some Mr/Mrs Wong, with a silly smiley, which prompts another similar comment isn't?

Or have you more of a problem with the contributor?

So I'm a moron because you disagree with me ?

Typical of the myopia which permeates this newsgroup.

Wouldn't mind so much but Cornwall is overrated. Ever been there ? Decent
enough coast but even that's not in same league as Antrim, for example, or
vast swathes of western Scotland. Inland it consists of slag heaps for
hills and little else.

Slag heaps 4 miles from Penzance
http://www.gallerylatitude50.co.uk/rambles.html

Near Bodmin http://www.hentervene.co.uk/wp-conte.../Rough-Tor.jpg

Carn Brea to St Agnes beacon in the heart of industrial Cornwall
http://media-cdn.tripadvisor.com/med...rea-castle.jpg
The built up area is CamborneRedruth.

Of course it's very different in the sheltered south.

I'm quite happy to let people decide whether inland Cornwall it's 'nondescript' (your words) or not.

What I don't get is why people like you seemingly only post ******** (inland it's slagheaps for hills) to generate long malicious threads. When you got no reaction from me, you had to post again.

Well done, you've succeeded.

Graham, kill-file him. What you didn't post were, of course, pictures of all
the beautiful gardens in Cornwall in the sheltered valleys, full of exotic
planting. The gardens are my favourite bits of Cornwall along with the coast
path. The moors are lovely too but I have moors with Tors right outside my
front door, so a bit of a busmans holiday visiting those!
