E Faulkner - Road of Shame. The Victoria Square reorganisation is
even worse for pedestrians. Before Victoria Square was reorganised, the
traffic went one way from Piper’s Row and then turning left up Queen
Street. Since it’s been reorganised, after coming out of the bus
station I have to look three ways to see if it’s safe to cross. Then
there’s usually constant traffic, mainly queues of buses, forming a
wall of traffic stopping people getting into the city centre. It would
be better if Victoria Square was completely pedestrianised, so that
people could walk from the rail and bus stations straight up Lichfield
St or Queen St.

Where's this to, as we say in Dorset?

NO dullish it's not to a ng, it's to the Letters Editor of the
Wolverhampton Express & Star. The socailist council have buggered
something else up. It's amazing that Wulfrunians are like chickens
voting for Christmas, in voting in Labour party all the time. :-(

No. He's got the right group. I lived there 60 years ago, and
immediately recognised Lichfield Street, Queen Street and Victoria
Square as being in the middle of Wolverhampton.

So guess who. Again!

jim

P.S. I could start and go on about the centre of Northampton, especially
since the old bus station was closed and a new completely inadequate one
was opened, but I realise this isn't the right group for such a rant.

Google = "Greyfriars Northgate Northampton traffic chaos". Not the full
story there though. Complete and utter gridlock on four separate
occasions in under a year. And he thinks he has problems!!!

It's gone down a lot since the 1980's Jim. It makes me so miserable but
also sad, to see a good city go to ruins.

That place started going downhill on 27th December 1957. That was the
day we moved down to Hampshire.

Drove through there in 1978, and cursed the fact I didn't have my
passport with me. Was afraid they wouldn't let me back out into Britain
again!!!

fact you name it we've probably got one person from every country in the
world! :-(

Africians eh? Technicians, morticians or what. Go and take a running jump, you semi-literate petty-minded racist thicko. I suppose it's a bit pointless reminding a pea-brained whingy nonentity like you that this is a weather group.
