24 hours to 09:00 today saw a minimum 13.1C. A new record (Records start 1991). Yesterdays maximum was 14.9C.
However, that minimum didn't occur overnight. It was incredibly warm in the early hours. At 05:00, 14.3C at Land's End, same at Camborne. In St Ives where the wind was descending off the moors 15.1C at 05:15! I doubt if I'll lived to see another December this warm. Shame about last August. The front's stalled over us for a bit, as a result 12.1mm since the early hours, and a fair bit to come yet before it gets a move on. Graham Penzance |

Even up on the Lizard plateau it was 14.9C @ 05:00! St Ives temperature plot is typical http://www.nci-stives.org/weather/Cu...antage_Pro.htm Graham Penzance Graham Penzance |
