Here's one for the global warming alarmists....
21:00 Thurs 13th Nov BBC2 Horizon Documentary series looks at how Britain could be heading towards an Alaskan-type climate as scientists believe that the Gulf Stream, which keeps temperatures unusually high for such a northerly latitude, is gradually being cut off Duration: 50 mins Source - OnTheBox. |

If done properly, might be a useful addition to the debate. The only problem for us older folk is that we can remember all this before in the 1960's - though I think the mechanisms invoked were different. Notwithstanding that, it's good to see these matters aired at a reasonable time of day. Martin. |

Isn't this an old one which has been on some considerable time before??? Or was
that a Channel Four prog...??? There's definitely been something on this subject on the box before. I remember watching it!
