Rather unexpected snow in Fleet. Started with small flakes, then hail,
now beautiful large flakes ![]() Sarah H Just been checking the 8 hour radar animation, your shower seems to have been the remnants of a shower cluster that came ashore before 5 am near the Wash. It finally died out just before it reached me ![]() one light shower seems to have got through via Southampton to Christchurch/Bournemouth. There doesn't seem to be anything significant left to head our way now... Thats a shame Dave. It only settled briefly on the grass but it was lovely to walk in. Maybe next winter eh? Sarah |

That shower left me with 2CM on the Wash coast at 07:00 this morning - only

I think you're right Sarah, a day with snow lying in March really would be a turn up for the books down here! I think I can safely put the sledge away now - but at least many of us will have the memory of that wonderful evening of thundersnow! -- Dave Fareham |
