Well after the weather has taken 2 steps backwards since April kicked in,
and the temperatures are only about 8/11 C this week with plenty of showers, I just wondered if anyone knows if and when it will warm up any. Just for the record, the temperaturs are about 8/10 C down on last April, but I know that was exceptional Thanks -- Bob H Leeds UK |

Its only April, and this is only Britain..... |

Having looked at the EGRR T+144 on Top Karten, it looks as though its going
to get colder again after becoming milder at the end of the weekend! http://129.13.102.67/wz/pics/Rukm1441.gif Phil |

Last April didn't start that warm, in fact I recorded only two occasions in
the first 12 days where it reached or exceeded 15c A cold start to April would be like that of 1989, where we had max daytime temps of 4c Currently I'm registering 9.1c Shaun Pudwell 2M ASL, Warden Bay, Isle-of-Sheppey, North Kent. I must admit that it has seemed to me that recent springs have been much colder than they used to be but perhaps it's just that normal April temps aren't that different from January these days... Just mown it for the 3rd time this year, and had to delay because of rain earlier in the week. -- Five Cats Email to: cats_spam at uk2 dot net |
