![]() "Rodney Blackall" wrote in message ... After a very cold and wet afternoon in Rutland, we were driving home near Uppingham when I thought I saw the characteristic splodges of sleet on the windscreen - but I could not be sure from my position at the back of a rather full "people carrier". A short time later the driver reported that the indicated outside temperature was 5 (I don't know how accurate). Anyone else see sleet today (Sunday 18th)? -- Rodney Blackall (retired meteorologist) Buckingham, ENGLAND Using Acorn SA-RPC OS 4.02 with ANT INS and Pluto 3.03h I noticed Luton Airport was down to 4C, so almost possible. Could well have been some localised wintry ppn of some sorts. Didn't see any here though. |
