I see the 564 line is heading for the Outer Hebrides from the west!

More significant, I would have thought, is that it is forecast to
penetrate Iceland. But it's only a 132-hr chart, remember.

Default 564 approaching the Outer Hebrides!

564 decametres is the height at which the pressure falls to 500 mb (or Hp)
....strictly speaking the thickness depth between the height of the 1000mb
and 500mb pressure surfaces. Warm air is less dense than cold air so if the
500 mb pressure level is relatively high it suggests that the airmass (
between 1000 and 500 mb anyway) is warm and it may be time to get the sun
cream out. A thickness value of 564 is relatively infrequent.
