Still wading thro' pics for the website overhaul couldn't resist sharing

Why, on what must a few bright day, where the sun must be more powerful
than thats cars headlamps we can actually see the light from them and
what more it pick the car out quite well?

Oddly enough, I have one taken of the same place - travelling the other way

Your picture reminds me of a scenario in a gliding competitions many
years ago. Conditions were very poor and we all had trouble staying
airborne.

Then one pilot gleefully announced over the radio that he was climbing
slowly in smoke on the northeast outskirts of Oxford. We left him to it
for a while (nobody joined his thermal) but finally somebody had to
spoil his fun by advising that he was using the smoke from the Crematorium!

It looks like sunlight reflected off a lorry (truck US) to me.

There is a standing cloud that looks just as striking over the Deeside
power-station somewhere near Flint ifcr. From the other side of the hill
-just in-land from Rhyl, it looks like a volcano venting. The weather
has to be just like that on the link though.
