Any idea anyone when we should expect one of these?
Seems like a very mild week in prospect.

It certainly won't be next week. I think in about 3 weeks time if the
setup is favourable.

I remember last year or 2003 in mid-April when the temp went up to 24ºC
in Wolverhampton, in fact Wolverhampton was the warmest part of the
country! :-)

Since 2001 April has always produced a day in excess of 21°C in St Albans
which has been in the second half of the month. I recorded 26.8°C on the
16th of April 2003 which was a notably high maximum for the time of year.

Recorded 27.4C on the 16th April 2003.

Exceeding 21C is very common in April, and sometimes in March though it
looks like it won't happen this time. Recorded 21.0C on March 31st 2004
