Since 2001 April has always produced a day in excess of 21°C in St Albans
which has been in the second half of the month. I recorded 26.8°C on the 16th of April 2003 which was a notably high maximum for the time of year. Alan |

Exceeding 21C is very common in April, and sometimes in March though it looks like it won't happen this time.
