There is a bit of snow ramping going on by the independents. I am not
getting drawn into it. No, its not because I am stand offish. It is because everytime someone gets over excited by cold weather we all get disappointed. Onto more important bits. This calm quiet December is getting quite interesting, already a third of the way through the month and all the precipitation I have had here is a little drizzle. -- ************************************************** ************************** ******************************************** Gavin Staples. My daughter is to pick up at Darlington station on Friday, transport to Copley, then a return to a party in Darlington, pick up in the early hours and return to Copley. I looked at the chart and think it's a definite by the law of Sod. I looked at the chart and think it's a definite by the law of Sod. With 850hPa temperatures between 0 and MS5 degC and a strong gradient I would not think any frontal preciptation would fall as snow, unless above 1000m. In the convective situtation behind it's a different matter. There's nothing to worry about there, let the party go on ! Joe |
