Hi, lurker here.
What are the chances of Northern Ireland getting some snow over the cold
snap.
I think NI sees little chance of snow except on the highest ground. The
light winds, forecast for here early on Saturday, may just allow the snow
to penetrate to quite low levels as the wet bulb freezing level falls by
evaporative cooling, but once the wind picks up later in the day from the N
that effect will disappear. The end during Monday seems to show a gradual
warming with virtually no chance of snow.
