However all roads were passable including that horrid one from
Dalwhinnie to the A85.

:-( That's one of my favourite roads, ever since I lived in FW!

In spite of all the alarums and warnings, my trip to Edinburgh on Saturday,
and my return today, were all on black top (A96/A90) except for a dusting of
snow at the Glens of Foudland on Saturday and the odd patch of slush around
Kintore today.

Snow lying either side of the roads most of the way however.

And we had an interesting time going out for dinner in Edinburgh on
Saturday, and an even more interesting one going home again afterwards. Both
taxi drivers were grumbling about the traffic being dead slow and stop
because of the snow. But most of it was gone by Sunday morning.
