The results of last night's snow at Wallsend, mostly at around 0200
complete
with some single cell TS of the flash - bang - gone variety. Surprising

Have it on fairly good authority through personal communication that
over 15cms of level snow fell over the North York Moors last night with a
few drifts of nearly a metre - more than the warnings would have implied.
