: this is
snow-clearing Northolt, end December 1978, using the standard rotary
snow-blowers: note that the 'MET' depth was quite small IIRC, around 6
cm, but the character of the snow and the wind did its job - the
sculpture of snow is outside the Met Office window of the time, but
quite a bit of the snow came *in* the office.
