infact, just noticed this.....

REGIONAL SEVERE WEATHER WARNINGS
These warnings are issued when severe weather is expected to cause
disruption to traffic etc. over the next few hours.

AFFECTING Staffordshire and Shropshire.
Frequent snow showers will affect the Northwest Midlands during the
morning and at first this afternoon. The snow showers will be heavy at times
and could give temporary falls of a few centimetres. Driving conditions will
be dangerous at times.
