Default Freezing Levels (29th)

Is there any data sites in the UK to verify freezing levels?

Hi Tom,

Not sure if this is of any help (it's a beta page by the way which is not
live on the site)

http://www.metcheck.com/snowlevel2.a...y=UK&Coastal=1

This page displays the raw 0c Isotherm layer direct from the GFS 00z model
run for Essex with the freezing level in ft (this will be rounded to the
nearest 100ft as advised by our Senior Weather Consultant Will Hand ;-) if
it goes live)

The minus figures simply denote that the ground temp will be below freezing,
so it's a bit ropey but it is untouched output so you can blame NOAA if it's
wrong ;-)

If this does make it live to the site then it will be renamed, I'll post an
updated link if that does occur.

Happy New Year to everyone on USW and all the very best for 2004.

Cheers

Andrew
