This all looks to be only a very temporary issue though according to all the
model predictions up to T+144 (see Darrens latest run report) - unless they
are all in doubt with the present situation.

It would be interesting to know how different the various forecasts would
have been during the two big winters of the last Century if todays computer
models had been running then. I wonder if with todays models, there would
have been anything like as many failed thaw forecasts as there were then?

Could be an interesting evening and day tomorrow.

Temp in Malvern this morning -1, ground frozen but no 'white' frost.
