aren't supported operationally, i.e. they will only be attended to on a
Mon-Fri basis.

That seems odd, not to have 24/7 technical support for popular
webpages and/or those fed by almost realtime data (including the free
radar pages). Especially for such a large and well respected
organisation as the Met Office. Even Avbrief manage to fix broken
stuff at weekends.
