Been snowing moderately for about 15 mins now - settling well on grass,
cars and the shed roof. Temperature 1.0°C.
How come it is bypassing us here in Broadstairs? It is 2.7 degC here with
an easterly wind around 13mph (10 min ave) and a wind chill of -2. We have
had several sleet showers this afternoon but no real snow.
Dunno but since I posted that post, we've not had any more snow - what
we have is slowly melting (it's about 1C out) - even though the radar
shows piles of showers north, south, east and west of us.
Boughton-under-Blean.
Hail, sleet and snow showers 1400/2300? At 2100 2 cm lying. Emptied rain gauge
at 2100 3.8mm. Temp at 2230 -.4c. Grass -1.7c.
