Did you get 2.5cm to settle - then I'll only have to buy you a half! I've
said elsewhere that I was surprised it didn't settle more considering how
heavy it was and how near to zero the air was. My theory is the local
councils have put so much salt down in the last few days that anywhere
within half a mile of a road has gone brackish. Or more likely - no frosts
this year and the soil is warm just below the surface.
