Default Plenty of Snow but still patchy

Well regardless of today's events regarding some **** flooding this NG
(personally I'd break their legs) the weather has been almost pushed into
second place, which is a shame as this is the best down fall I've personally
witnessed since joining this NG around six years ago. I remember a couple of
days ago posting "it Will amount to nothing". Well even though in Siberian
(not) Sydenham there's been non stop snow for about two hours, it is really
struggling to settle. It reminds me of a bucket with a hole the bottom
which is losing water, as long as the water being poured in, is faster or
equal to the water pouring out, then the bucket doesn't run out. My front
path refuses to be covered in snow. Basically it's just not cold enough! If
it were to stop and skies cleared than maybe it would freeze what's there,
if it stops and remains cloudy, then much of it will be gone by morning. So
I'm still going with patchy settled snow and slightly lower than average
temps.

As for the invasion we've suffered I've seen some guesses as to who may be
responsible it would surely have to be someone with some skill and a grudge,
I know who my suspects are and they're not from this NG.

Lawrence, it is because you are living in a town. Used to be the same in
Manchester in the 60s snow would take far longer to settle than in the
surrounding countryside. One thing I noticed moving to Dartmoor, the snow
settles quickly.

ATB,

Will.
