Default Repeating patterns

Good morning all,
Has anybody else noticed how once a weather pattern sets in, even short
ones, they repeat themselves with some monotony ,?.
This is particularly noticible with Westerly types of course ,but even with
this 'bitter' cold spell every day repeats itself with minor variations
,despite the dire forecasts.
This maybe a phenomenom peculiar this part of the world (Southwest
Essex),but the snow showers come and go ,settle during the night ,and then
rapidly melt away in the strong early Spring sunshine ,
Tonight will be an interesting test of this theory assuming the enhanced
shower activity happens ,maybe several cms of snow by dawn ,to then be
followed by the sun coming out and it all melting by mid afternoon.........
As my old dad used to say ,if the weather was as varied as the forecasts
what would we have to moan about ?. ( D. excepted of course )
