I can see me at Hull getting next to nothing tonight, and my
parents, some 25 miles to the NNW, on the tops of the Yorkshire
Wolds, getting plenty dumped on them. Ho hum. I ain't complaining
tho'.... --

Do you really want to be on high ground in these parts tonight and
tomorrow ? Ken Cook looks to get plastered as well. Doesn't look fun
to me. Upto 20cm on upslopes looks likely.

Indeed, Joe. Well I know the parents have the freezer full, plenty of fresh
veg etc in, and a coal shed full, plus plenty of logs too. I feel sorriest
for my father who will have to go out onto the farm tomorrow.

Plus I wouldn't want to be doing that police search on the southern parts of
the Wolds tomorrow either...
