Default The "storm" - an apology

OK I put my hands up and say I WAS WRONG to emphasise the severe weather so
much.

Would I do it again given the same evidence - probably.

Will,

As others have said, there is no need to apologise. It is incidents like
this that make the weather exciting. If predictions were simple and able
to be guaranteed, I suspect that a lot of folks would stop taking such
an interest in the weather.

Forget yesterday and move on. As I type this, the wind is picking up
with a maximum gust of 33.8 mph. The barometer is dropping at about 3mb
per hour and now reads 987mb. The temperature is also rising and is now
at 8.9C. (guess who now has a weather station g)
