Over the last few days have seen many reports of precipitation being or rain
or sleet.
All around this region 90-150 Metres, we have had snow.. it is snowing today
but not heavily .. the flakes are very fine, and it's just too light.
I was right .. the main heavier band missed us North, although I coudn't
rely on the public information to tell me this which is very sad. (they
knew).
If this cold spell had been a little colder I think it could have been
rather memorable. The precipitation has been there consistantly, but just
melting on the roads.
In Easterlies of the past the temperature was sub zero .. e.g. ice on the
ground every 'day'.
