Seems to be the position this lunchtime with snow at Cranfield:

EGTC 141350Z 04008KT 1800 SN BKN000 OVC001 01/01 Q0992
wit an Easterly wind, with Luton a few miles south with a westerly

EGGW 141350Z 24008KT 4500 SHRA SCT010 BKN020 04/03 Q0990

Temperature here in Luton, some 4km NW of the airport, was
static at about 4.5 till 1345 with intermittent rain, but since then
the temperature has fallen fast ... now 1.7C at 1505, but the rain,
sadly, has stopped, at least for the time being.

Snow still falling lightly in Northampton - sadly there's no decent hills here, unlike the old days sledging opposite the Windsock! (Sigh.... memories!)
