pre-Gentile, then, yes. The NBP themselves are said to view the early
fascism of Benito Mussolini - who WAS an ex-socialist - as being
POSITIVE.

In Russia, Mussolini is generally regarded as being on the LEFT-wing of
the political spectrum.
