BRACKNELL (TF)
0900 ENE F2-3 6000 -SN 4/ST 5/CUSC //CI T-006D-020
RMK: at several times in past couple of hours, bordering on the
moderate category, but now very light; a light additional cover (see
below); visibility improved. Not easy to tell what the precipitating
cloud is, but guess it's from the CUSC, though coded as layer type:
steady snow since 06Z.
[ OVERNIGHT DATA (18Z - 09Z):
screen min: -01.3 grass min: -03.7 precipitation: 3.3 (all snow-melt)
other data: total snow cover (average/climatological) now 4 cm, with
maximum depth over grass 6cm; over paved/hard surfaces around 2cm; note,
local school closed, and apparently Bracknell roads are in a mess! ]=
1200 ENE F3 10km - 2/CU 4/SC 7/CI T014D-011
RMK: Can't work out if something very threatening is happening to the
north (very grey skies), or just some Stratus there; if the former, then
we could be close to a real 'dumping'! Otherwise, snow melting rapidly
now - most paved/hard surfaces clear, and snow over grass decreasing
steadily.=
1530 NE F2-3 10km HZ 1/CU T016D-003
RMK: Complete change from above. Snow finally ceased around 1445Z, but
for a time it was of moderate intensity - though no appreciable effect
on surface; snow now thawing rapidly on hard/paved surfaces - which are
damp - and thawing steadily over grass. Cu mainly fractus, but isol Med
to North; other cloud: 2 oktas Sc, 2 oktas Ci.=

1800 NE F2 9000 HZ 1/CU 4/CI T014D-020
RMK: other cloud present: 2/SC; hard/paved surfaces damp - current
grass min. thermo reading -0.8degC/ice forming on same which is over a
patchy cover of snow.
[ DAYTIME DATA (09Z - 18Z):
screen max: 02.2 precipitation: 0.5
other data: only snow present now is over grass, and even that is
patchy - all cleared from roads/pavements etc. ]=
