This one was taken on 15th December 2004 at 09:32 and is the raw
image
resized to 640 x 480. Note the faint secondary rainbow. I was very
lucky to get this as it lasted just long enough to pick up the camera
and shoot.

That's absolutely brilliant, Alan. It shows very clearly how
much more light is reflected inside the bow compared with outside it.
A bit of ray-tracing shows why.
