But anything on the internet is fair game for simply being linked to.
Had you used the images on another site without permission then
that would have been a different matter entirely.

Well you better tell the people who currently want my head that, cos now
everyone is, even the person whose site it is.

They can have no right to do so, they might well have purchased the domain
and set up the site in order to show photos to friends and family but they
can't stop anyone else looking at the pics.

If they wanted them to remain private then they should have sought another
solution, email or ftp for instance.

You didn't create your own page and link directly to each of their photos,
or pass them off as your own.

They've no right to complain.
