So have you kind of 'opted out' ?
Yes indeed. Not only do I decline to take part in the Rodent Races, I do
not take an undue interest in others who remain 'runners'.
If you have how did you do it?
I was a good girl and saved all my centesimi. I adopted a lifestyle
more attuned to need than greed, but still with sufficient (ok, lots of)
creature comforts. 'Wanting' is an illness which is quite curable.
Cashed in a business
No ... I did not have one to sell.
Early retirement
Sort of ... I withdrew from employment and I am now 'of independent
means' (and not a burden on the state) although that should be more
accurately portrayed as 'I am now an independent peasant'.
Lottery win
I do not partake for two reasons - I generally do not gamble (that is a
way of life rather than a rule ... I can buy a ticket if I want to).
The other ? Well ... I do not want lots of money ... I could have
stayed at work and got that.
Inheritance
I have no ancestors, with or without money.
Crime
What I have I earned legally, and indeed morally LOL.
Fantasy - you really work in a cafe in Newcross?
(-:
I only do work which is unpaid, is at my computer, and does not
constitute employment by another party.
I'm intrigued.
Apparently so. I am even more intrigued that anyone would be intrigued
enough to enquire (-:
