5 days in Manchester, with only 2 occassions heavy/persistent enough to
give a brief cover of about 1cm.

No snow cover lasted more than 2 hours.

We've had much more rain than snow falling.

Very disappointing, especially given that just a degree (or two) colder
and we'd have seen a very pleasant spell of snowy conditions.
