No snow cover lasted more than 2 hours.

We've had much more rain than snow falling.

Very disappointing, especially given that just a degree (or two)

colder
and we'd have seen a very pleasant spell of snowy conditions.

Shrewsbury: 7 falling, 1 lying (24th, 1cm).

Most snowdays since Jan 1997. That month had 5-10 cms lying for a
week......

Currently 6C and sunny.
