It's now been snowing for almost three hours, with the temperature having
fallen to just 0.2C. The largest snowflakes I've seen since at least 1997
are plastering everything, with an inch on the roads and an inch and a half
on the grass.

(WR refers to Leysdown, north Kent, 10m ASL)
Stayed at a constant 0.8°C here with only light (but persistent) snow,
small flakes. Barely 1cm on grass and nothing on roads and paths. Just
about to venture up to the University to teach - the 60m height gain
might make all the difference!
