With high pressure holding over Scandinavia here a few maximum temps
from the area for today 20th January. This is crutial if a NE wind
decides to head our way.

Oslo -8.6°c
Bergen -2.0°c
Sundsvall -10.1°c
Stockholm -3.9°c
Helsinki -8.5°c
Copenhagen +0.5°c

For what little it is worth here are some temperatures for the same day in
1963 - taken from the posts I made on that winter.

Maxima: Oslo -6C, Stockholm 2C, Helsinki -1C

Minima Oslo -12C, Stockholm -9C, Helsinki -11C

That was with a high just west of Norway and NNE winds blowing over the
eastern and central parts of Scandinavia.
