All faces I saw yesterday were happy ones. People started smiling when the
little blue whole in the sky was replaced by a continuous light grey cloud
cover and the heavy snow came in and started settling on the ground. No
matter their rush, everyone was -or at least seemed- happy.

I remember January 2002, when snow accumulations were much more significant.
People would throw snowballs to total strangers and receive a big smile and
even bigger snowballs in return. Everyone seemed happy.

Enjoy the cold spell and hope that it will be snowier than is now forecast.
Maybe it will add a smile on your face as a response to the total strangers
that smile to you -the only grounds for it being that it will be snowing!
