Well after yesterday's unbroken sunshine all day, it is now back to
normal
on
Dartmoor - dense fog and drizzle.
1000
Temp 6.4 deg C
Dewpoint 6 deg C
Wind easterly 9 knots
Weather - dense fog and light drizzle
Visibility - 40 metres
Bar 1017.9 hPa - steady
All horizontal and vertical surfaces wet, water dripping off trees.
From a gloomy, damp, cold and obscure Haytor,
Will.
Sky clear, 15.6°C and a bit hazy here, Will, as of 1400Z.
Notice the DartCam still looks a bit murky

Well dense fog all day here Jon with less than 50m visibility.
Just come back from a walk and on the moor the fog is the thickest I have
ever
seen it on Dartmoor.
10-15m visibility at times and it was a good job I know the area,
otherwise I
would still be out there in quite nasty conditions given the moderate east
wind
and drizzle.
1700
Temp. 7.4 deg C (Day max. 8.1 deg C)
Dewpoint 7 deg C
Wind E 11 knots
Visibility 30 metres
Weather - Dense fog
Bar - 1014.1 hPa - steady
Ground surfaces - drying out, vertical surfaces now damp rather than wet.
From a cold Haytor still shrouded in very dense fog,
Will
